Lost and wasted food


Sometimes our biggest problem is that we let ourselves be persuaded by the marketing techniques used by food shops but we must eat what we buy and buy what we will need that is a simple way so that the food not only buy it so that it is in the refrigerator also so that it can be consumed properly without exaggerating the quantity that is going to be used.

The causes of this problem starts from the agricultural production to the consumption in which they are made in the homes. In underdeveloped countries that are those of Latin America there are greater losses of food and that are realized in the first stages of the alimentary chain but mainly because of technical problems and storage, refrigeration and transportation. Globally the biggest problem that causes food loss is the global warming and climate change because they waste many resources that are used in the production of food such as land, water, energy and inputs but the biggest cause is the emission Unnecessary CO2. Currently worldwide is lost or wasted around 1.3 billion tons per year in food in which they include cereals, roots, fruits, meats, dairy products and fish that has greater percentage of losses.

But in itself should we seek a possible solution to this problem or should we leave it like this? no, I think that they should look for a way to solve this problem and truly if there is but not in all countries they do for example In supermarkets is where food there is in abounds that is sometimes lost would be expired and when a product expires, consumer does not buy it since he knows that he will no longer be in good condition to consume it, then if the supermarkets know that they have food in abundance and that it is going to expire I think that they should donate that food to the people who still live day by day with hunger and thus they could fight another problem that is around the world that is the death caused by hunger.
in conclusion food waste is becoming a serious problem around the world Since it is affecting more the environment and It is running out the resources that are used in the food process so we must all realize that even if a problem It does not seem to us affect , we should each contribute for that is it can resolved.
